About me.

My name is Cassie Chitty Gustafsson. As an HR leader at Google, for over a decade I have partnered with, coached and supported the development of people across the organisation, in countries all around the world.

Before finding a home in Tech and in HR I had tried on many hats in multiple roles and industries. I’ve lived and worked in the UK, Canada and Sweden and truly understand the challenges and rewards of global and local working and living.

I’ve also spent time at home as a parent and lived through the ups and downs that can bring! I know about the transition back to working life, with an inevitably altered perspective.

Recently I took my son to see the Wizard of Oz. During the early black and white scenes he asked, ‘when is the film starting?’. It made me smile and think about coaching.

Dorothy’s transition from monochrome to technicolour reminds me of my own experience of being coached. Throwing aside a big chunk of scepticism, I explored my inner world, linking arms with my wisdom, my heart and my courage and followed a path to a place I feel more at home. I’ve made choices with a newfound clarity and confidence, which would not have come on it’s own. There are perils along the way, and quests to complete, but it continues to be a compelling adventure!
